Thank you for your interest in working for E&E Foods, Inc. at our Renton seafood processing plant. Our Renton facility operates year-round with occasional need for overtime during busy periods. Permanent employees are eligible for benefits including employee-sponsored medical/dental/vision coverage, paid time off (PTO), and paid holidays. Requirements:
All prospective employees must be at least 18 years old and provide valid work authorizations. Failure to produce appropriate documentation will prohibit your employment.

Nature of Work:
Seafood processors perform a variety of tasks that can include sorting, cutting and cleaning, grading, packing and cleanup. Much of the work is repetitive and tedious. Some work can be very strenuous such as stacking cases of frozen product and pushing freezer racks or carts of fresh and frozen product. Working conditions vary with the assignment, but are generally wet, cold and noisy. Working in a value-added processing plant is not for everyone; it is important you understand your limitations in order to keep everyone safe and productive. If you have any doubts at all, it is in your best interest not to apply for this type of work. People with back or wrist problems should not apply.

Work Hours:
Timing can vary depending on duties, but the daily work schedule is generally 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. We also have an evening shift performing some seafood processing work, cleanup and janitorial duties. Meal periods and breaks must be taken as scheduled.

Wages:
Wages are based on Washington state minimum wage rate or higher. All hours worked in excess of 40 straight time hours in a week are paid overtime at one-and-one-half times the wage rate. Paydays are bi-weekly.

Gear:
We provide aprons, gloves, liners, and hairnets at no charge. Any required safety equipment including safety glasses and ear protection will also be provided.

Transportation:
You will need reliable personal or public transportation to ensure arriving on time for your daily scheduled shift.

Zero Tolerance:
Possession of firearms, fireworks, explosives, weapons of any kind and replicas or facsimiles thereof is prohibited on company property. Use of alcohol and/or illegal drugs on company premises is expressly prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate dismissal. The sale of any such items on company property or during work time is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination and possible prosecution.

All employees, including supervisors, permanent and temporary employees, shall be treated with courtesy and respect at all times. Employees are expected to refrain from fighting, "horseplay," or other conduct which may be dangerous to others. Conduct that harasses, threatens, injures, intimidates or coerces other employees, customers or anyone else at any time, including non-working hours, will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal.
