The cold, glacier fed water of Cook Inlet annually produce abundant runs of wild Alaskan Salmon: King, Sockeye, Coho, Pink and Chum. Pacific Star Seafoods works with more than 50 independent fishing vessels each outfitted with the most modern equipment possible to ensure prompt and wholesome delivery of their daily catch. Pacific Star exercises the utmost care in processing each load of Salmon delivered by a fisher during the course of the fishing season. A strict cleanliness and quality control program is always in effect and strictly enforced. The finished product, whether fresh or frozen, is available within hours of delivery.
Fresh Cook Inlet wild Salmon is available from pacific Star Seafoods during harvest. Fresh-frozen wild Salmon is available year-round in a variety of packaging and product forms. Fresh-frozen products minimize shrinkage, keeping yields and margins high.
