Prior to joining the E&E Foods sales team in 1998, he spent 12 years as a seafood buyer for various Japanese companies and prior to that worked in production throughout Alaska as an interpreter for a Japanese salmon roe operation. "I believe my experiences in production and as a buyer make me a better salesperson, especially for the Japanese market," says Rocky. "I understand what customers are looking for and how to deliver the product." Rocky specializes in frozen export of all five species of wild salmon and crab species including Red King, Bairdi and Opilio from Russia, Alaska and Eastern Canada. Born in Okinawa, Japan, Rocky enjoys being able to work with people from his native country and to visit there each year.
